AN ONLINE EVENT RECOMMENDED BY THE OFFICE FOR PROMOTING CHRISTIAN UNITY AND RELIGIOUS RELATIONS WITH JUDAISM
In the 1960s, Rabbi Joseph B. Soloveitchik opposed Jewish-Christian theological dialogue, outlining his views in the essay “Confrontation”. Since then, many Orthodox Jews, including some of his disciples like Rabbi Dr. Irving “Yitz” Greenberg, have championed such dialogue. Daniel Ross Goodman’s lecture will explore the significant shift in perspectives and the evolution of this dialogue over time.
